Job Description Summary |
This is a grant-funded position through August 31, 2025. Under the direct supervision of the Program Director and Retention Specialist, the TRIO SSS Tutor will work on assisting assigned students in academic tutoring, to include note-taking, study skills, and review of online content including syllabi, etc. |
Minimum Qualifications |
High School diploma and completion of at least 30 credits hours at the collegiate level with an overall average of “B” or better (or GPA of 3.0 on 4-point scale) in major courses. Must have earned a grade of “A” in specific course in order to serve as tutor. Experience as a tutor or prior transferable experience preferred. |
