Job Description Summary | Responsible for the conception, needs assessment, development, delivery, management, and evaluation of WDCE programs, ensuring alignment with the mission of lifelong learning and community engagement. This includes overseeing open enrollment courses, developing innovative learning opportunities tailored to diverse needs, and implementing effective marketing strategies to expand program reach and impact. Additionally, responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships with businesses (e.g., senior centers, residences, and community centers), government agencies (e.g., Prince George’s County agencies, Maryland Higher Education Commission), and professional associations (e.g., LERN, American Society on Aging) to enhance educational access for older adults. Duties may also involve managing committees, contracts, conferences, and grants to support program growth and sustainability. |

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to a, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. No significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions. OTHER REQUIREMENTS
