Job Description Summary | The Manager, Teaching, Learning, and Student Success (TLSS) Budget and Academic Operations supports the financial work of both credit and non-credit academic areas. The Manager, TLSS Budget and Academic Operations is the cost center manager for the TLSS area, with authority to approve all requisitions within the area up to $10,000 at the direction of the Chief Academic Officer and Provost (Provost). This position is responsible for the development of the area’s annual budget, stewardship of the area’s expenditures, and new position requests in TLSS. In addition, the Manager, TLSS Budget and Academic Operations provides specialized program support for the TLSS, conducts financial and operations research for the Provost, and advises the Provost on strategic and operational planning. The Manager, TLSS Budget and Operations identifies and anticipates problems as well as suggests viable solutions regarding budget management within the TLSS area. Other essential responsibilities include preparing reports and correspondence; addressing information requests; providing purchasing and payroll support; and supervising, evaluation, and managing support staff with evening and/or weekend responsibilities. |

Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to a, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
