| Job Description Summary | The SAGE (Seasoned Adults Growing Educationally) Program is seeking an enthusiastic and supportive Health & Wellness Instructor to lead movement-based and wellness-focused non-credit enrichment classes for older adult learners. Subjects may include yoga, meditation, tai chi, Zumba, line or hand dancing, group exercise, chair aerobics, strength training, swimming, brain fitness, nutrition, and healthy eating. The instructor will plan and deliver safe, engaging, and accessible instruction that supports physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. Instruction is designed for adults aged 60 and older and should accommodate varying fitness levels, mobility needs, and learning styles while fostering a positive and inclusive environment. The instructor is expected to maintain current knowledge in their discipline, follow appropriate safety guidelines, assess participation and progress, and participate in curriculum development and professional development activities that support lifelong learning and healthy aging. This position is not a remote position and requires teaching on-site. |

| Job Requirements | PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public using the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle, or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. No significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions. OTHER REQUIREMENTS
